CROOKED AND FALLACIOUS THINKING

Another week with a new group of presentation. That what I like about this subject and also its lecturer itself Madam Ros. This week we have been presented by Shad’s group about the crooked and fallacious thinking.

First of all I quite blur about the topics when I cannot make it to read the topics first a day before the presentation. But with the collaborations with Shad’s group, it makes we understand very well due to the topic. This chapter is not only evidence of illogical mental processes and poor communication skills but is also a manipulative tool in the hands of speakers and writers wishing to influences and affect the judgment of the listeners and readers. Hence, the context where there is an intent to persuade someone towards particular belief or course of action and it also included a course on critical literacy itself.

Based on their presentation, we as the readers quite understand but if they come out with the critical issues, it could be nice. Thanks a lot.
